Want to try Monitorial?

New Monitorial Feature: SSH Configuration Analysis

Here at Monitorial we have two exciting new developments to announce.

SSH Configuration Analysis

The latest version of Monitorial includes a much-anticipated feature: SSH configuration analysis. Monitorial now introspects the SSH configuration of your servers and provides an analysis regarding areas of potential vulnerability. This initial implementation provides this report in the server detail view in the SSH Warnings section.

As excited as we are about this new feature, this is just the first iteration. We expect to expand upon on it and add more SSH-related functionality in the future.

Linux distro packaging

We are also excited to announce that we now have Linux distribution packages available for Monitorial. Following is the initial list of target distro versions:

  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial
  • Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty
  • Debian 8 Jessie
  • Fedora 23 and 24
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 / CentOS 7

If your preferred Linux distro is not listed here, please contact us via Twitter at @monitorial and let us know which distro(s) you would like Monitorial to release packages for next!
